On 21st August 2021, I was watching several Moorhens Gallinula chloropus feeding on a drying sludge lagoon at Grafham Water, Cambridgeshire. At 09.30 hrs, I noticed a Stoat Mustela erminea nearby, clearly on the lookout for prey. It seemed to be interested in a young Moorhen chick that was accompanied by an adult.
